Legal Advisory Services

I help clients understand how to utilize international and regional human rights law to enhance the work they do, particularly, on issues of governance, democracies, gender, women empowerment, conflict prevention, management and resolution in Africa. I also provide advice to clients on various human rights issues, particularly in relation to African human rights framework and jurisprudence, help with the development of relevant tools and documents such as general comments, legal reports, opinions or other relevant reports to specific regional and international Human Rights Mechanisms or Treaty Bodies among others.

Technical Assistance and Capacity Building

I can assist governments and relevant institutions on human rights, gender, development issues, especially on how to integrate international human rights law into domestic relations and frameworks with a view to strengthening national laws and policies. I can also offer personalized or tailor made capacity building programmes on human rights and gender mainstreaming for clients that are interested in improving their understanding of international and regional human rights law and gender related issues and their connection to governance and the rule of law, gender equality and development or raising awareness and provide advocacy about the most recent developments on these areas and how it affects governance in Africa at the regional, national and local levels.

Overall, I am happy to facilitate speak on relevant topics at any events, meetings, programmes, conferences from national to international levels as I have done that severally on different topics of interest.

Evidenced Based Research

For clients who need to better investigate specific aspects of international human rights law, social policy issues or issues related to women empowerment, gender equality, gender development and gender peace and security and how it relates to relevant issues affecting governance and democracies in Africa, I am happy to assist design relevant tools and methodologies to conduct evidence based research on a wide variety of topics, develop policy briefs from the findings and contribute to its dissemination to relevant policy makers and target group as may be required.

Strategic Planning, Project Design, Management and Monitoring and Evaluation

According to Joy Gumz, operations keeps the lights on, strategy provides a light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organization forward. I am happy to assist startups and relevant companies, businesses and organizations with developing their strategic plan, visions and missions and long term goals and objectives. I am able to provide coaching supports in such areas to entrepreneurs and individuals who want to begin the life objectives among others.

For relevant projects and programmes in the areas as stated above, I equally happy to support clients in all stages of a project cycle (i.e. designing, budgeting, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) in order to keep the engine of the organization moving.
